Mr. D.J.K. Coghill, I.C.S. (U.P.) was appointed to the Political Department of the Government of India with effect from November 28, 1930, and was posted as an assistant resident at Kolhapur. 2) The Government of Bombay created a temporary position of Extra Assistant Resident for the time that Mr. Coghill served as the Kolhapur Infantry's adjutant. 3) Appointment of Captain L.T. Wilcock of the 5/11th Sikh Regiment to the position of adjutant of the Kolhapur Infantry for a two-year trial period with effect from March 30, 1931, by a major with the rank of Captain in the Indian Army with ten years of service. 4) Payment of an additional Rs. 150 per hour in special pay to Mr. Coghill for the time he served as the Kolhapur Infantry's adjutant and second-in-command.
