With effect from April 19, 1928, the services of Mr. C.W. Cotton, C.I.E., A.G.G. Madras States are no longer available to the Madras government. Lieut-Col. C.G. Crosthwait C.B.E. has been appointed as the Governor-General of the Madras States' 2nd Class Resident and Agent.
