With effect from October 24, 1927, Mr. E.C. Gibson was hired for special service as an additional commissioner in Ajmer-Merwara, along with his salary. From November 16 to November 28 1927, Mr. E.C. Gibson was employed in the States of Western India on Special Duty by the Honourable Agent to the Governor General. Mr. E.C. Gibson was appointed as a political agent for the Western Kathiawar States with effect from November 29, 1927.
