With effect from October 19, 1927, the Foreign and Political Department Secretariat has hired Major E.T.R. Wickham, Counsellor, Kabul Legation, on a special assignment in connection with the upcoming trips of the Amir of Afghanistan and the Prime Minister of Nepal. Obtaining leave for Major E.T.R. Wickham of the Political Department to cover the time of his delegation to England in conjunction with H.M. the Amir of Afghanistan's visit to that nation on an average pay basis
