Pandit Lakhshmi Chandra, the first Indian master at Aitchison College, received a leave of absence with average salary of three days and a continuation leave with half average pay of seventeen days, both with effect from October 7, 1925. In compliance with Punjab Government directives authorising the conversion of the aforementioned leave into leave on average salary with a medical certificate, waiver of recovery of the amount he overdrew is made.
