Acknowledges the receipt of No. 1842 of 12th May last, and submits copy of correspondence with the Deb Rajah of Bhootan on the subject of the dacoities at Soobhankhatta, upon which he offers remarks, as also on the question as to the relations to be kept between Bhootan, Sikhim, and Thibet on the one hand, and the British Government on the other.
