Unstarred Question No. 102 by Shri Maheshwar Naik, answered in Rajya Sabha on 16.12.57 regarding the proposal to ban the plying of Cycle-Rickshaws in Delhi, the no. 01 reckshaws pullers that are to be affected by the ban and question of alternative employment to them. Replied that a decision to this effect has been taken by Delhi Municipal Committee although no date has yet been fixed and that about 1400 will be affected-Question of running Auto-rekshaw services in replacement of cycle rickshaw permits ban considered
