I.A.S. and I.P.S. - Fixation of pay of State Civil/Police Service officers promoted to - Decision that if a State Civil/Police Service officer while officiating in an I.A.S./I.P.S. post, is promoted substantively to the selection grade of the State Civil/Police Service, his pay need not be re-fixed by allowing the appropriate increase over pay in the selection grade, by that the substantive pay in the selection grade should be protected by granting personal pay to be absorbed in future increments
