In an extract from the legis lative dept. dated 1th March 1843 - With reference to extract of 2nd Dec. last, transmit copies of a ltr. and enclosed from the ajdt. chief secy. to the govt. of Fort St. George relative to the draft of an act for preventing vessel throwign ballast overload, with request that information may be furnished to that Detp. after consulting the boat.
