With reference to mily. dep.t lt.r no. 48 of 23rd July 1855, in whihc pensoined subdadar Major Hyder Ghazie is stated to the have died on the 19th Dec. 1854 while on a pilgrimage to mecca submit a communicaiotn from the pension pay master barrackpore form whihc it appears taht the kotwal of the Dum Dum Sudder bazar Major.
