With refernce to mily. dept. ltr. no. 299 of teh 25th nov. 1853 to the addres of the court of directors transmits copy of courts reply no. 14 of the 30th May lat, stating that the sanciton the surveyor and sst. surveyor employed in teh civil detp. being included in the list appended to the pension rules of 1831.
