In reply to his officaiting Mily. secy. letter no. 226 of the 14th july 1854 submitting a suggestion by captain coke commadning 1st punjaab infntry that Govt. leaving authorized the subsititutoion of Puckallie on rupee 5 per mensem for each company of infantry in the punjaab irregular force .
