With refrence to mily Department letter no 803 of the 28th may 1856. submits, for information copy of a letter from the officer commanding the 3rd European Regt. reporting the death of private casson of that corps whose discharged from the service was authorized by the honble court in their letter no 45 of the 8th april 1856.
