General order by the Right Honble the Governor General of India in Council fort william 23rd December 1856. with refrence to Government to General order no 143 of the 25th jany 1856 to the right Honbel the Governor General in council has in the Public works Department been pleased to decide that officer in that Department have no right to gratiutions medical attention for their families.
