Acknowledge receipt of his letters, soliciting orders as to whether certain information & copies of papers applied for by Lalla Jotee Persaud others shall be furnished & acquaints him in reply, that Govt. leaves the matter to his discretion, desiring however that nothing may be done that will compromise the Govt. in any way.
