In reply to no. 871 dated 26th Aug. 1853, Submit a ltr. from brigader hodgson with procedigns of a committee assembeld to investigate the claism of Soobadar Meer Jaffiers to be admotted to theorder of merit, and supports the recommencation that the subadar be at once admitted to the 2nd class of the order.
