In reply to Mily Department docket no 197 of the 4th Instt. ditails the grounds on which he the officiating mily auditor General dissents from the recommended of the C.in C that the pay of the sowards of the Bengal cavy be increased to 25 Rupees per month with refrence to the prewailing system making it apparent that 20 Rupees a month is all to gether insufficient to keet the want of a mounted soldiers.
