Authorizing the destruction of certain useless records in his office.directed to acquaint for the information of his excellency the commander in chief that the Right Honorable the Governor General in council is pleased to authorize the destruction of the useless records in office detail in the list forwarded by endorsment No 690 of the 10th Instant.

The National Archives of India is on a mission to digitize and make available online each and every record in its repositories. This is an ongoing effort and some records will be made available before the others.
