With refrence to mily Department letter no 538. of the 21st june last, forwards by docket for information copy of one from Lt. William son 49th Native Infantry and commanding 5th Punjanb Infantry stating that th eamount of his donation to the wellington Edow ment was fowarded on 22nd september and the receipt acknowledged ion the cal gazetee of 14th october 1854.
