Reports the death of simla on the 20th Ultimo fo Lt. Native the J. mackenze 6th Light cavy in which Regt there is no cornet for promotion to fill the vacancy and in conformity with Mily Department letter no 892 of the 26th june 1854. submits, the name of senior cornet A.W.J montgomerie of the 9th Light cavy for transfer to the former Regt.
