With refrence to mily Department letter no 603 of the 17th Instant, regarding the inconvence by Her Majestry 61and 98th Regt at dagslai from the want of small change to pay the men their daily balance suggesting that the pay master of those Regiments in drawing their repective pay abstects should be allowed to recur a certain proportion in silver peces of 8 and 4 annas states that in order to give effect to the proposition to regimental pay master of those regiments should be instructed in receipt of the drafts furmished to than by the pay master 2.I for their monthly requrements on the treasury at sabathoo, to append a memo of the quantity of 2 of and 8 anna peeces that may be wanted for distribution to the men and the accountant N.W.P.
