Submits copy of a letter from Brigadier Chamberlian who wishes to arm one of his Batteries with 3 Six Pounder Guns and 3-12 per Howitzers instead of the present 6 Nine punder Guns. As the latter cannot be either drawn or carried over the ground on which the Batteries are liable to act.
