With reference to this Deptt. Extt. dated 7th July last, status that Dr. Stewart has declined to accept the office of Principal of the Medical College and recommends that Dr. Goodeve be allowed Rs.190 per mensem (the amount of a temporary saving in the medical college charges during Dr. Mouats absence) from the date of Dr. Mouats departure for the charge of the Secretary's office on the old footing.
