Read a Dispatch from the Honble the Court of Directors No. 82 of 1855 dated 8th August declining to Comply with the recommendation of the Lieutenant Governor of Bengal for the garnt of a personal allowance to Mr. E. Currie on his appointment to the office of a Member of the Lagislative Council the Salary of that office having been fixed at Rs. 50,000 per Aunum.
