Act No. XIII of 1856 passed by the Leg. Council received the assent of the G. G. on the 13th June 1856 entitled an act for regulating the Police of the Towns of Calcutta Madras and Bombay and the several stations of the settlements of P. W. Island Singapore and Malacca.
