Secretary-With A view to alleviate the distress of the people at Sattara where the crops have failed, the Government has authorised in anticipation of the sanction of the Government of India, an edpenditure of 200 Rs. a mile in clearing certain Roads the total # of which is 320 miles if proved necessary , to provide employment for the popullation of the Eastern Districs of Sattara.
