From Post Master General - With reference to orders of 1st June last. Forwards for inspection a Watch which has been travelling fo rsome months past on the Benares Road from the time the Watch begun to be used, an improvement in the rate of travelling has taken place, difficulty in winding it up where there are no Europeans. Suggests that the Court of Directors send out 50 each to go 4 days without winding up or 48 hours might be sufficient none calculated for the work procurable in this Country.
