Board - In reply to letter of the 28th ultimo Propose that the duties of the Marine Pay Master should in future be confined to the mere cash payments of his office and that the adjustment of the Marine Accountant should deoolve on the Marine Accountant the Vouchers having firest past the Board and that all military Claims be referred for payment to the Presidency Pay Office with a view to Enable the Marine Pay Master to devote more time to the supervision of the Store Department and that the practice of the Marine Pay master Paying his Collections into his Treasury be Discontinued.
