Extract Military Department - With reference to Notification of the 13th July 1855 No. 884 relative to Public Servants reporting their departure when proceeding on leave forwards copy of observation thereon to the effect that under the preset system Certificates are granted to the Post Masters General for remifsion of Postage when letters are received unpaid setting forth that the letters are on the Public Service only thereby consing much trable and incomenience Requests that such measures may be adopted as will for the future relice that Department of the necessity of granting such Certificate.
