Secretary Bengal - Submits copy of a letter and of its enclosure from the Mauritius Government relating to a grent mortality that take place among two bodies of Indian Emigrants who left two Port in November and December last also copy of a letter from the Protector of Emigrants at the Port relative to a new clause which the mauritius government has recently directed to be inserted in the charter parties of Vessels taken up to Emigrants. Submits the Lieutt. Grovernor remarks on the conduct of the Mauritius government in reference to the treatment of coolic Emigrants to that Colony and suggestion as to the best made of # evil.
