For reason mentioned requests that the Govr. General in Council may be pleased to instruct the Lt-Governor of Bengal to suspend the Bill which has been introduced in his Council, to amend Act III. of 1863 and Act VI. of 1865, relating to the laborers in Tea-plantations in Cachar and Assam until the receipt of the report of the proposed commission to investigate into the subject.
