Proposed withdrawal of traveling allowances in the cases of certain officers joining first appointments in the Public Service. Question of reducing the allowances now granted for equipment and voyage to India of the Governor General and the Members of his Council, the Governors and the Commanders-in-Chief of Madras and Bombay, and the Bishops of Calcutta Madras and Bombay.
