From Secretary - With copies of Examiners Reports on the two monthly Examinations in Persian, Hindee and Bengalee, held 16,17&18th Instant Messers Sympson Mackintosh & Ommaney reported qualified for the Public Service in two languages - The latter Gentleman entitled to a Medal of Merit recommended by the Examiners, for rapid and considerable proficiency in Hindee.
