To Chief Secretary - With copy of a letter from Mr. George Tod Commissioner for the Settlement of the Carnatic & Tanjore Debts and requesting that orders may be issued for the payment to Mr. Tod of the whole amount of his Salary from 1st August last at Fort St. George, subject to the usual deductions on account of the Bengal Civil & Annuity Funds.
