To Board - In reply - Sanctions the employment of the Assistant Secretary in the capacity of auditor to their Board remarks on the propirety of placing under Mr. Greenlaw the same establishment as was assigned to him as Secretary to the Embarkation Committee- desired to suggest an Establishment on a smaller scale The Audit of the Marine Accounts to be vested in the Commercial auditor. The Governor General in Council does not consider it expedient to comply with their suggestion. That the Assistant Secretary should check the Bills of Section Writers without the supervision of the Secretary.
