Secretary - in reply to letter of the 22 ultimo states that it is the opinion of the Committee appointed to taste and report on the quality of the Wines received form the cape of Good hope that they are much inferior to the Madeira ordinarily issued to the hospitals and consequently unfit to be substituled for it.
