From Post Master General - With reference to orders of the 3rd February 1841 requests under the circumstances stated that Rs. 2109,,13,,7, being the amount deficient in the Treasury of the General Post Office on the demise of the late Treasurer Doorgchurn Paul be written off to profit and less in the Accounts of the Post Office Department.
