Extract from a letter, dated the 25th August, 1797, from Mr.G.H. Barlow, Secretary, to the Superintendent of prince of Wales Island, stating that the native inhabitants of the island who may have complaints against farmers or other persins should not be allowed to prefer them through the agency of any European.
