Letter from Mr. Thomas Graham Resident at Benares reporitng that Raja Cheyt Sing has paid the whole of his kist due the 4th instant transmitting an account of the payments of the same informing the Board that the Raja very reluctantly paid the whole amount of the tribute which he had promised to pay from which it may be surmised that he hell not assist the nenessities of the English by an advance on his montly kists reporting that he has found it difficult to procure bills on Patna and pointing out that it would be more advantageous to the Company for Patna to draw bills on him to the extent of the Raja smonthly kists at the exchange of one Benares sicca rupee for a Patna sonaut.
