Translation of a letter from the Dutch Director and Council at Hughly proving effectually that there are arrears due to them from the mint at Moorshedabad now removed to Calcutta and asking the East India Company to make good this money to them intimating that in the affair of Capt,. Parks they will act on the orders they may receive fromt heir superiors at Batavia reporting that they shall send orders to Patna to pay the Pesheush for the current year to the Dewan as well as Rs. 10,000 the Dewans share in the Peshcush for the year 1777 and 1778 and complaining of the answer they received to their letter protesting against the violation of their teritory of Barnagore.
