Letter from Mr. Samuel Touchet, Buxey, requesting an order for the rest of the stores for St. Helena to be received on board the Ceres, explaining why the St. Helena stores were not despatched by the Talbot and advising that in future Mr. John Lloy be ordered to superintent the shipping of the St. Helena stores and that the Court of Directors be recommended to make some provision in the terms of the Charterparty to cope with the greatly increased cargoes for St. Helana.
