Letter from the President and Council of Fort Marlbro , intimating that a dearth of supplies of money has involved them in great difficulties and that they are sending Mr. Philip Manington over to Bengal to make a representation of these difficulties asking the Board to advance him $10,000 sterling in Spanish dollars or German crowns and also to honor a bill of exchanbge for 15,000 dollars in favour of Mr.Edward Coles, for the fright of the indent stopping the sending of rice for the next year and advising of the drawing of certain bills of exchange.
