Letter from Mr. Claud Alexander Military paymaster General , enclosing two accounts showing the monthly subsidy to be paid by the Rana of Ghode for the services of Major Popham detachment at Gwalor either [1] when the subsidy is fixed according to the actual expenses of the detachment, or [2] when the subsidy is fixed strictly according to the terms of the treaty with the Rana also enclosing Major Camac Account of the subsidy that should be paid by the Rana , intimatingthat according to this account the Company will not be re-imbursed for the expenses of Major Popham detachment and asking how the account with the Rana is to be drawn up.
