Duplicate of a letter from the Surpercargoes at Canton informig the Board that last season they despatched 17 ships to Europe laden with merchandise and that they are preparing cargoes for 16 shps the season representing their need of funds to enable them to provide for such a large investment especially at this time whe owing to the war their supples of momey from other parts of India have ceased describing certain cireumstances relative to Capt McClary of the Dodalay and enclosing a list of current prices at Canton as wel as ne of their shipping .
