Letter from Mr. William Larkins Accountant-General, intimating that he has computed the advances made to the army in Benares sicca rupees below their real value, desiring that the Paymaster-General may be directed to correct the accounts of those to whom these addvances have been made, and requesting that he may be authorized to wirt off to Profit and Loss the additional 1 per cent . charged by the Governor-General to the officers to whom he made payments at Benares.
