Letter from Mr.Claud Alexender Military Paymaster General, proposing that a muster and valuation of the Company s budgerows, boats elephants, camels, etc., at the different station be taken and that the difference between the sum at which they stand on the military books and the actual valuation be written off to the profit and loss acount ,in order to enable him to furnish the Accountant General with a true statement of the quick and dead stock at the prescribed periods.
