Letter from Mr. W. Larkins, Accountant General, intimating that he does not know whether the Nabob Vezier or his ministers have admitted the sum of Oudh sicca rupees 4,51,870 charged to his debit by the Accountant at Lucknow for the balance of Lalla Butcherauges bill on Bishesher Dass and Byjenaut at Surat, and suggesting that the Resident at Benares should be informed of the amount of the claim which the Company may eventually have upon the house of Cashmeery Mull, and requested to take steps to prevent any partial alienation of the property of that house to the detriment either of the Company or of the Nabob Vezier.
