Translation of a Letter dated the 27th August, from the Governor-General to the Nabob Vezier,intimating that his letter addressed to His Majesty has been transmitted to the Court of Directors, together with a translation thereof, and that it is contrary to custom in England to send any Nazar, etc., with such letters.
