Question raised by Raja Sahib of Miraj(Jr) regarding exemption of Rulers Palaces & Buildings from Municipal Taxes. Decision that as far as possible, the practice prevailing before the 15.8.47 be continued and that in the event of a house-tax being levied in or extended to the areas formerly constituting States, the main residential palaces of the Rulers should be exempt from this tax.
