Designation of certain gentlemen to be Knights-Hachelor on the 2nd June 1943. Decision that copy of the Memo. of Indtructions should be sent to every one including Military officers on whom King has signified his intention of conferring the honour of Knighthood, whether the plain Knighthood or in an Order, whether he is immediately serving in the country or not. Decision that only 2 copies of the notification re. the dubbing of Knights-Hachel or designate and the Memo regarding the inestiture of Knights of the Orders should in future be sent to the Home Department.
